Water works

Howdee! Whew, its been a hot one, but that keeps the garden growin'. All of the crops are looking pretty nice.

Just a reminder to try and remember to shut the water off after you use it, please. Some of the connections leak, and wasting water is a foolish endeavor. Most everyone has gotten a good handle on the organic options available for pest control. If you want some info, just ask me and I will direct you to the answer person if I don't know. Also the books in the Library under the pavilion are very helpful.

Last weeks' workday was small but effective- that's how most of them will be. We have had good turnout, most everyone has been there at some point. This week we will be planting melons and pumpkins. The peanuts are up!!

Oh, several people have asked me what they can do, since tuesdays don't work for everyone. I have a list of "to do's" on the white erase board in the corner room. These are relatively simple and self evident for the most part. Of course no work is required, all is optional. They change as we complete the various tasks as well.

Have a good week. Next week (28th) campfire after the (short) workday. Horshoes?
