Ol' fashion peanut dig

Hello everyone! How are we doing?
Well, the weather has been dry lately, but we are still hoping for some more (real) rain.

Come on out for the workday (tuesday 6-8) for a good ole fashion peanut diggin'. There's diggin to be done, then stringin' and hangin'. After that we might even go huntin' for potatoes. (next tuesday will be something else exciting)

You will also notice some interesting small structures and lots of bales of hay. These are the results of the the Fall/Winter Gardening workshop that The Institute for Sustainability and Environmental Education had on Saturday. It was a great first event for the Institute. More are sure to follow. There is some info about the season extenders in the corner room.

We're gearing up (hopefully) for a fall festival, perhaps in Nov. Also we will be having one of our twice yearly all-garden meetings relatively soon to get everything settled up for the year, and to plan a bit for the next.

See you soon. Tim
