I am a Professor of Spanish and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at Sweet Briar College. Sweet Briar is a liberal arts college for women in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, in Central Virginia. In my free time I design web sites.

My husband Jeff is a composer and lover of old books. Our son Greg recently graduated from Swarthmore College, with a major in Theatre Studies.
